Friday was a little disappointing. I'm just really not into anime anymore, so it's just not much fun. I met a lolita who seemed pretty nice. (I don't remember if I got her name, but i got her lj) There were two gorgeous Baby, the Stars Shine Bright skirts and a jumperskirt that I wanted so bad, but I didn't have the money at all. Then the man selling Bodyline tried to feed me lies. I looked around and found a pink Hello Kitty parasol I wanted, but I couldn't figure out how big it was unfolded, or find the person selling it, so I got annoyed and left the dealer's room. (But not before buying delicious confetti and pocky. :]) I went over to the Artist Alley and found my friend [link] and talked to him for a few minutes and looked at his art, and then I left.
Sunday was the day of the panel! I woke up early and worked on the two posters I'd planned on having, and then I headed off to the convention! When I saw the room we were doing it in, I got so nervous. It was probably three times the size of the room they gave us last year, with a huge platform for us to sit on, and even microphones! It took us until about 1:10 (the panel was supposed to start at 1. :[) to set up, even though we got there a good 15 minutes early at least. By the time we started, the room was almost full! I was really surprised. I think we covered everything well, because even with the larger audience I think we got less questions at the end. Afterwards lots of people came up and we handed out some papers with links and our email addresses on them, and one nice girl in a bad (but not terrible) dress asked for help on figuring out what good lace and bad lace was like. We showed her some bad and good lace, and there was bad lace on her dress, but there was a row of good lace too, so she actually had a nice example to take home with her. She made me happy because I thought she was a good example of why we shouldn't make fun of the new girls just because they're not dressed quite right, because she was a nice girl and she wanted to learn.
Art class was stressful. I figured out that there was an essay I was supposed to write this summer and I didn't read thought the packet closely enough. And I was too busy working hard to get my drawing done to write the essay until earlier tonight. I wonder how much she'll take off for it being late. And I'll have to have my sketches for the next project done tomorrow. Along with all of my English homework that I should have done today. ._. Too much too much too much.
All I want to do is lay around with my boyfriend like we did during the summer. I loved that. Now we have very little time to do that. Especially since his mother freaked out because we fell asleep together. Yeah. Fell asleep together fully clothed on his couch with the lights on and everything. She yelled at him and called him disgusting and wouldn't let us hang out for a while over it. She doesn't make any sense at all.
I love the stuff from Anna House, except one of the dresses is too short on me, and half of the stuff is too big, despite being XS. I'll have to get it tailored, but I don't know when I'll do that since I owe my mom $120 already. @_@; I can't wait to wear the red dress on the first day of school, but I don't know what shoes to wear with it! I guess I'll have to wear my white shoes, but I really wish I had some red ones because they would match a lot better.
( Cut for large pics )
My mom is upset that I haven't found a part time job for the summer, and I'd like to earn some money to spend on all of my expensive hobbies, so I've decided to try and earn some money online. Up until now I've just sold my old comic books and toys and clothes and such, but I'm running out of those. I made some sweets jewelry and I'd like to sell some of it, but I'm not sure how much I can make off of that either.
A few days ago I joined this social networking website called Yewie. The idea is that social networking websites make tons of money, so why not pay the members for their activity? Basically just browsing around earns you a little bit of money. Getting page views earns you money, too! And if you refer friends, the more money they earn, the more you earn! I don't expect to earn very much for my first month here, but it's fun to try, and any amount of money is good to me. So far I'm really liking it. I really wish that there was more activity in the clubs, though. (Especially the lolita one) I joined plenty of clubs to find some new friends who share my interests, and no one seems to post at all. At least when I refer people I can refer people who share my interests and hope that they join the groups. If you're interested in joining, click here. :3
I did some research on what would earn me the most money, and just now I've joined this ad venture website thingy.. And I'm actually going to risk some of my money. (Only $10, but that's kinda a lot to me, haha) I'm not going to bother trying to refer anyone until I know that they won't be getting ripped off, so one way or another I'll let you know how that goes for me.
People had told me it was going to be bigger than Nekocon.. aaand.. It wasn't half as big. It was really disappointing. I couldn't even find any candy in the dealer's room except for like two boxes of pocky. :[ (And I only saw three lolita other than Sarah and I)
Buut, I had fun with Sarah and Markus and I took pictures of little kid cosplayers. :3 I love little kid cosplayers. So cute.

I think that's it. If I missed something chances are I still LOVED your present, I'm just tired right now. Really tired. Or I wouldn't be typing like an idiot.
I also might not be thanking all these people when chances are, none of them read my journal. lol.
I HOPE YOU GUYS HAD A VERY MERRY CHRISTM
AND THEN I GOT HOME.
I walk in, decide to go play video games until the end of my perfect day, walk through the living room and casually glance at the table.. Do a double take.. Pounce on the packages left waiting there for me.
I LOVE opening packages. And I was home alone so there was no one there to interrupt my squee-ing and cooing and whatever other noises I make. I made lots of weird noises.
I finally have a lolita skirt that actually fits me perfectly. Every one of mine is too big in the waist or too short. This one actually rests at my true waist and goes down to the knees. More importantly than that IT'S GORGEOUS. >3< I'm not taking it off until I have to go to bed. I do not care that I'm wearing a red and white striped tank top and socks with green butterflies with it. I don't want to take it off.
Also, I got two gifts from Baby with it, the little mirror and the calendar. And I got a matching bag with my skirt. (That one wasn't a gift, though.)
The other package was nice too, full of cruelty-free goat milk beauty products. (They're amazing, and I met the girl who makes it all, sh's really nice. You should look at their website. vagoatsoap.com) They all smelled lovely, particularly the honeysuckle one. Smells just like honeysuckle, I always love that smell when I go outside whenever they're blooming all over my backyard. Makes me want to pick them and eat the nectar until it gets dark out. The bodybutter is great, it smells like chocolate.
( Cut for tons of text and pictures. )
( Picchars )
After the school day, there's not a single tiny stain on my dress. (I usually manage to spill a drop of something, and it's barely visible but I KNOW it's there and it bothers me) Also, this dress doesn't wrinkle so easily as my other things, I really like that. I will most definitely be ordering from Anna House again. (Not soon, because I'm saving for other stuff, and I have Christmas shopping, but before the year is done with, probably.)
The one-piece with the ribbons all over the sleeves. (I took them off, along with one of the bows on the bodice, because I have problems with satin ribbon. I may get around to removing the other ribbon on it, I can't decide whether or not I want to.)
Two blouses, one long-sleeve, one short-sleeve.
A pair of their white short-heeled shoes.
And alice bow.
I love it all, but I really, really adore the shoes. They're so much cuter in person than in the website pictures and they're SO much better made (and the design is just better looking) than the shoes I bought from Ling Lam a while back. They're also waaaay comfier, even with the gel soles I put in the other ones. I've been wearing them since I pulled them out of the box. The short-sleeved blouse was a light antique white, when I thought it was going to be plain white. I would have felt annoyed with myself for not paying more attention, but then I realised that it would match the skirt I was making perfectly. I finally have some motivation for finishing it.
Tomorrow I'll wear the one-piece and alice bow to school, (It's picture day, such perfect timing!) and I'll share the pictures here. <3
I love Anna House~~~
1. I'm a top contributor on yahoo answers and I pretty much only answer the questions about lolita. If you talk to me on MSN a lot you know that, though...
2. I always tell myself I'm going to work hard at whatever or just things in general and then I kind of don't.
3. My little sister thinks I'm a total freak.
4. If glitter becomes the new sweets jewelry I may just stop visiting egl.
5. I liked decora lolita back when the elitists made fun of girls for liking it.
6. My BMI says I'm very underweight but my body fat percentage says I'm obese. Not something I should brag about, eh? xD;
7. Most of the clothes in my closet I've never worn. (Because my mom shoved all my grandma's old clothes in there and I don't have room for my lolita things. ~_~; )
And this is the quick picture I took before heading to school. My hair would be curled but my hotrollers did not work propperly. D:
This is also the reason I am inspired to clean my mirror. Anyways...
( Ranting about first day and flannel bloomers under the cut )
Well, off to clean that mirror and then go get those supplies.
All the pictures were taken in my backyard. I made her dress and necklace and Ken Curtiss (http://www.originaldesignsinglass.com/)
( Rant about bitches )
I'd been trying to get to go to a meetup forever and finally got to. We went to Busch Gardens and had tons of fun even though it was super hot and we were all worried about melting into puddles of lace. I can't wait for the bigger meetup I'm going to at Busch Gardens this weekend. <3

Ariel took this picture of me before the meetup. I like it. x3
